Festive Guideline Announced:Total Ban On Navratri Garba

The festive season now approaching in the Corona era, everyone is eager to know what the government will finally do with the celebration of the festival during this epidemic.The state government has issued guidelines in this regard.There has been talk so far that Garba could be organized in Navratri with a limit of 200 people,but now the state government has not allowed Garba to be organized in Navratri.

Worship Can Be Done By Worshiping Idols

The Government of Gujarat has issued guidelines regarding the celebration of Navratri Garba/Dussehra/Diwali/New Year Snehmilan/Sharad Poonam.It may be mentioned that the state government has issued guidelines
for the celebration of the upcoming festivals in the context of the current Corona transition situation in the state as well as public health well being.

These guidelines and decisions of the state government will have to be implemented from October 16, 2020.According to the government's new guideline, no public garba can be organized in the state during Navratri. However,the government has given concessions on the installation of Mataji's mandvi.At the same time,it has been stated that during Navratri,Garbi/Murti can be installed and worshiped in public in an open place,but photos or idols cannot be touched or prasad cannot be distributed.


These guidelines and decisions of the state government will have to be implemented from October 16, 2020.
This will require the approval of the local administration No more than 200 people will be able to gather and the duration of the event will be one hour.

It is to be noted that all these SOPs must be complied with.It may be mentioned that social, educational sports,recreation, cultural activities,planning of religious ceremonies in areas other than the content zone will also be allowed subject to certain conditions.

The face must be properly covered at all times throughout the ceremony.
Oxy meter facility with thermal scanner, sanitizer as well as stage,mic,chair should be sanitized periodically.

Handwashing,sanitizer facilities will all be mandatory.

There will be a complete ban on spitting as well as consumption of pan-masala gutkha during the ceremony.
